Before we flew to Sydney, Australia, we spent a few relaxing days in Queenstown, N.Z. , updating the blog and drinking some good wine.
With only 5 days in Sydney, we hit "tourist mode" as soon as we arrived. We took a ferry to Manly Beach to soak up some more sun and the great views of Sydney Harbor. On day 2 we rented bikes and went to the highly recommended"Bills" for breakfast...little did we know that we would be enticed to eat breakfast there 2 more times. We also took pictures of the Opera House from every possible angle. (Thank you, Patrick, there all gorgeous)
We got a chance to act like real Aussies while we visited with a local couple that Claudia had met on her last trip to Sydney. We went to Bondi Beach and they took us Lawn Bowling with their friends. It was "good on ya".
